Got a new mixer yesterday to smash some Drums/Bass. This thing can get very dirty haha. Very limited tho, no fx sends.
So I'm using a little trick where you Pan every channel left and use the right output to send signals to a fx pedal (Instead of utilising the right output for a stereo mix). Any Signal that passes through the right side of the output will get sent to an fx pedal and then routed back into a channel on the mixer (creating a diy fx send). So basically I can control the send amount from each channel to the fx by turning the pan knob towards the centre. The further towards the centr/right side of the pan pot u turn, the more signal gets sent to the right ouput (FX Send). For example, I would have the kick and bass channels panned all hard left so that none of it gets sent to the fx. As for the other drums, I'll have them panned further towards the centre so some of their signal is routed to the fx.
The downside of this is that you will only get a mono output out of your mixer as the right channel is only being used as a send.
